THINGS TO DO - PLACES TO VISIT


Katoomba, The Three Sisters & Echo Point are just 30 minutes from Euroka. There are plenty of shops and restaurants here.
Visit Echo Point Information Centre (02) 4782 2857 and souvenir gift shop, cafe, toilets & picnic areas.
There is Katoomba Cascades Picnic/bbq area, kiosk & toilets.
Take the trip down onto one of the Three Sisters, starting at the Information Centre at Echo Point keep to the level upper path which descends to Spooners Lookout.
At the Three Sisters Lookout, to the left is Jamison Valley and Kings Tableland stretching South. In the centre is Mount Solitary and to the right is Kedumba Valley
and the cliff line of Narrow Neck Plateau. You can take the upper part of the Giant Stairway down to Honeymoon Bridge which crosses to the first Sister
(123 steps down and the same back).phew


SCENIC RAILWAY
Take the Scenic Railway leading you to a number of walking tracks. The Scenic Railway is claimed to be the world's steepest incline railway,
it is 415 metres long with a vertical drop of 230 metres and its steepest incline. The railway began in 1878 to get coal out of the valley.
